To be eligible for the GNM ( General Nursing and Midwifery ) course, candidates must have passed 10+2 with English and secured at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination as well as in English individually from a recognised board. Candidates who have completed 10+2 with English and obtained 40% marks in a vocational ANM course from a school recognised by the Indian Nursing Council are also eligible. Students who have passed 10+2 with English and secured 40% marks in the Vocational Stream–Healthcare Science from a recognised CBSE board/centre can apply. Also, registered ANM candidates with pass marks are eligible for admission to the GNM course. The course fees varies from one institution to another.
