Raw score is the exact marks that you have secured in the entrance exam. However, these marks are not considered at that moment as the raw scores of the candidates are compared with one another and the highest one is to be found out. And then the cutoff procedures starts that normalizes during the counselling procedures.

Highest raw score is done by considering the 100 percentile in each paper showing that 100 percent of the candidates have scores same to or less than the highest one who have scored for that particular session.
