Reproduction is the biological process by which living organisms produces offsprings with or without fusion of gametes.

Reproduction is mainly of two types:

Asexual Reproduction: The process of reproduction that occurs by a single parent. It does not involve the process of meiosis and gamete formation.

Example: algae, sporozoa etc...,

Sexual reproduction: The process of sexual reproduction is also described in general. It is the process by which offsprings are produced with the fusion of gametes and formation of gametes.

Example: mammals, dogs, cats etc..,
