The salary of any proffesion depends on your work and knowledege you know and it also depends on where you work and which type of work you do. Most of the radilogist works as a consultant in private hospital or private medical college, consultant in government medical college hospital either state or central, consultant in private scan centers or start their own scan center.

• If you work in a governent, they have one fixed pay.  In AIIMS, faculty are paid 1 to 2 lakhs per month, depending on their post and experience, with 1 lakh as minimum.
  

• In private hospitals employee are paid more as compared to the government hospitals. They pay some additional money based on how much they are reporting and how you are performing. It varies between places, and not a constant thing.
