CAE means computer aided engineer and CFD means computational fluid dynamics in case they deal with field problems which contain both fluid and solid structure related problems and CFD deal with only fluid

It can be used to produce either 2D or 3D diagrams, which can then be rotated to be viewed from any angle, even from the inside looking out.
