A shuttle valve is defined as a valve, which allows the fluid to flow through it, from one of the source.

Function:

The function of Shuttle Value is to seal the inlet ports as per requirement. There will be shuttle valve at every inlet port. Fluid flow is free when shuttle valve is its normal operating position.

Application:

Shuttle valves are used in pneumatic systems and sometimes in hydraulic systems.
