SX , SB , SA are the three exam papers of KVPY exam.

SA is for students those are enrolled in class 11 standard having secured a marks of minimum 75% in aggregate in Mathematics and science in 10 examination.

SB is for Students enrolled in XII Standard/ (+2) (Science subjects)  having secured minimum 60% marks in Mathematics and Science subjects in 10+2 examination.

SX is for enrolled in the 1st year of undergraduate program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. having secured a minimum 60% marks in aggregate in 10+2 examination.

KVPY is administered by the Indian Institute of Science.

The students who qualify in the KVPY Exam are eligible for a fellowship as well as admissions into institutes like the IISc and the IISER based on additional criteria.

This exam has 3 Streams: SA (Class 11), SX (Class 12), and SB (First year BSc).

SA is for Students in 11th Class.

SB is for students pursuing their 1st year enrolled in an undergraduate program of Basic sciences.

SX is for students enrolled in 12th Class.
