UIT Dehradun UG admissions are offered to students considering the following factors: marks secured in JEE (Main) / all national aptitude tests/qualifying examination/performance of candidates in a personal interview. For M.Tech admissions, candidates who have cleared GATE or equivalent entrance examination will be given preference. However, students who have not appeared for GATE need to sit for the entrance exam conducted by Uttaranchal University. Admission is based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. Students need to appear for personal interviews also as a part of the UIT Dehradun admission process.
