THE FOLLOWING POINTS MUST BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT BEFORE APLLYING FOR BANK PO :

1. MUST HOLD BACHELOR'S DEGREE

2. 

• All the candidates must be between 21 years to 30 years of age as on April 1, 2019.
• Candidates born not earlier than 02.04.1989 and not later than 01.04.1998 (both days included) are considered eligible. However, there is also a provision of age relaxation as per the constitutional Affirmation policy.
• The upper age of candidates is relaxed depending on their category. Given below is the relaxation criteria for candidates from reserved categories :
• sc/st- 5 years relaxation
• obc- 3 years relaxation
• pwd : sc/st - 15 years obc- 13 years , general- 10 years.
• Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs), Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have worked for not less than 5 years in military and have left on conclusion of project-  5 YEARS
• The original habitants of Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period ranging from 01 January 1980 to 31st December 1989 - 5 YEARS.

3.ONLY INDIAN CITIZENS CAN APPLY , NO DOMICILE RESTRICTION.

Before applying for this post it is really necessary to check the eligibility criteria for this examination. A candidate must be 21-30 years of age while applying for Bank PO exam. Age relaxation of 5 years is given to candidates belonging to SC and ST.The candidates belonging to OBC categories are given an age relaxation of 3 years. The ex-servicemen and the candidates holding Jammu and Kashmir quota are also given an age relaxation of 5 years.

The age limit for bank po is twenty one year to thirty years with 5 year relaxation for scheduled caste and scheduled tribes. the candidate must posses minimum 55 percent to 60 percent of marks in graduation , from a recognised government university . Candidates who are there in there final year of graduation can also apply for the same .
