Calcium. It is an important element in human health, an element with an atomic number of 20, that is, it has 20 protons in the nucleus.

It is an alkaline earth metal. The element has a high reactivity and plays a prominent role in many biological functions. Calcium is necessary for the development of strong bones and teeth. It is also necessary for proper muscle function and proper transmission of nerve impulses, helping in clotting of blood.

All these have calcium from dairy products and leafy green vegetables. Other foods are also sufficiently supplemented with calcium.
