Salary of 93 freshers graduating from IMS in 2018 was Rs. 21.44 lakhs (median Rs. 20.82 lakhs) while the average  salary of the 308 students with some prior experience (average experience was 30 months) graduating from IMS in 2018 was Rs. 23.19 lakhs (median Rs. 22.80 lakhs).

The average salary of 78 freshers graduating from IMS in 2017 was Rs. 20.14 lakhs (median Rs. 19.34 lakhs) while the average salary of the 312 students with some prior experience (average experience about two years) graduating from IMS  in 2017 was Rs. 21.78 lakhs (median Rs. 21.50 lakhs).

Salaries may vary with suitable experience and knowledge. However, it depends upon the student. While talking about fee structure, its so nominal here. Total fees for management courses are nearly 2,50,000; which may differ a bit according to the field selection. The fees include Tuition expenses, uniform fees, Caution money(refundable) and other miscellaneous charges.

Packages and jobs depends upon your performance firstly. It depends upon the marks you have gained and the college you are referring to. There are various different colleges for management and engineering in Kolkata. These colleges may provide you good packages if you have good knowledge .

For eg: Army institute of Management provides highest package of utmost 9 L/year, whereas an average package of nearly 5L/year.

Also other famous institute like IISWBM offers MBA for 2 years and also the respective course fee is around 5-6 L/year.  This role is good enough for people having 2–3 years experience. With 2–3 years of  experience and specialisation in Marketing and Management , one can get packages of 6–7.5 L/year.

So an average package in marketing can be around 5 L/year.
