There is a big advantage of CA foundation over CPT:

With the change in CA curriculum only deserving candidates could pursue this course. This will save a major time of those students who some how mange to clear CPT but get stuck in the later levels of this course.

• More important topics are included in CA foundation course which were not present in CPT.
• Require more passion and hard work because CA foundation is tougher than CPT.
• CA Foundation consist of Subjective and objective pattern, so there is no negative marking in subjective paper.
• For CPT exam, students did not have enough time to prepare but in CA foundation students have to register before 4 months of exam which gives them enough time to study.
• Business and commercial knowledge and general English has been added as new subjects in CA foundation course, these subjects are helpful for students to make their communication skills strong.
• CA Foundation exams gives a major relief as all the four exams will be conducted on separate day and students are also granted with one day leave between each exam.
