Hello Vivek,

The capital of Myanmar is Naypyitaw. Yangon ,also called Rangoon was the capital of the country from 1948 to 2006.Later it was changed to Naypyitaw.

Hello aspirant,

Yangon, also known as Rangoon, was the capital of independent Myanmar (Burma) from 1948 to 2006. Now the government officially proclaimed the new city of Nay Pyi Taw (Naypyidaw) the capital of Myanmar.
