The Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research is a deemed university in Chennai accredited with A by NAAC and approved by AICTE. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of science, technology, engineering, medicine and management.

The college starts at 9 in the morning and gets over by 4 in the evening. The college is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
