What is the colour of fe+3 ion in most compound

Fe is generally found in 3 oxidation states i.e.+1,+2 and +3. The last 2 being the common ones while +1 is found in brown ring usually. for +3 being a transtion metal its colour id because of electron transition in d-orbital giving it brown or very pale violet.
