No you don't need any particular criteria. But you have get diploma degree with minimum 45% marks or your 12th class marks minimum 45%. Then you can apply for it. Infact the evening classes equally valid with day classes.

If you doing your evening classes then you can do part time job in the morning. It will be beneficial for you. You just check which colleges give you this opportunity.
