Firstly, the forest research institute, only provides MSc and PhD courses to the candidates. To get into the Institute, you need to have a bachelor's degree. You need to crack the entrance exam conducted by the Institute with atleast 50% marks to.be eligibile to get admission into the Institute. Candidates who have qualified GATE or CSIR NET or UGC NET are directly eligibile for the PhD course. To get recruited into forest department and become a forest officer, you need to crack IFS Examination.
