The cutoff depends upon various factors like number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination and, hence varies every year depending on these factors. As you have not mentioned the name of college and entrance exam so it is difficult for us to give you information. For direct admission/merit based admission your percentage must be above 85% for good collegs.
