12th marksheet shows how much marks a candidate have acquired in each subjects and on the basis of marks it shows how much percentage you have gained, that is also called marks statement. whereas, 12th Examination certificate certifies that you have appeared for the exam and have passed it and also you are eligible for further higher studies.
