Coming to your question about the difference between actual score and percentile score in TANCET MBA, actual score is the total marks you have obtained (including negative marking) out of 100 in your TANCET 2020 while the percentile score is calculated using the formula : (Y/N) * 100
where, Y = No. of students scored lesser marks than you (the candidate) in that examination.
And, N= Total number of students appeared in the examination.
To avoid projecting negative scoring by the candidate, the final score card contains only percentile score.
So, the percentile score is most likely to be applicable for counseling.
The minimum qualifying marks (cutoff) for 2020 will be stipulated by the admitting authorities concerned soon in their notification for admission.
