Hi aspirant,

Usually, medical students find difficulty in understanding the difference between BSc MLT and BMLT and find it the same but they are not.

BMLT stands for Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology whereas BSc MLT stands for Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology. The duration of both the courses is 3 years but there is a 6 months addition to the BMLT course for the internship.

Subjects taught in the BMLT are Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics whereas, in BSc MLT, the subjects are PCB.

The BMLT course fees range from 20k to 2LPA whereas, for BSc MLT, the fees range from 10k to 2 LPA. Both the courses have great career opportunities. It's you who will decide which course to pursue.

Hope this helps.

ALL THE BEST.
