The core difference between BA(General) and BA(Hons) is simply the fact that specialization is offered in the case of latter, which means you will study the subject in more depth, with more detailed manner, and if you wish to pursue master's degree in the same discipline ahead in future, you can do that as well, you can appear for UGC NET if you wish to go for higher studies, comparatively Hons in any subject hold a greater value.
