BCA is a undergraduate course of 3 years and its full form is Bachelors in Computer Application, its usually done after 10+2 and MCA is Master of Computer application and its  a 2 year postgraduate course. MCA is pursued after BCA

BCA  stands for bachelors in computer application whereas MCA stands for Masters in computer application.

The difference between BCA and MCA is that BCA is undergraduate course whereas MCA is post graduate course.

In short, you can do BCA after your 12th board examination whereas to do MCA , you need to first do graduation.
