what is the difference between code 02 and 03 for neet ug 2022 ?
Hello aspirant,
CODE 2 is for candidates who have finished 12 years of higher/secondary education or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which is equivalent to Class 10+2, may choose code 2. The National Council of Education Research and Training requires that English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, or Mathematics, or any other elective, be taken as a major subject in the last two years of study (NCERT).
Aspirants who have completed 10+2 with Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or a state open school as a private candidate from state boards can apply under NEET qualification code 2. This code can also be used by droppers.
CODE 3 is for the Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examining body (Not particularly CBSE or ICSE) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.
Hope it helps!
CODE 3- This code is for students who have completed their Intermediate/Pre-Examination degree in the previous year.
