As per your query,  I would like to inform you that computerr science(Core) mainly deals with interaction btw hardware and software systems.Its involves the design and understanding of computers. It is study how computer performs mathematical jobs whereas in software engineering  its involves design ,build and test software products before placing them into the market. Recently Wipro ,infosys has opened hirings in a large number for software developers so we can for now SE has more opportunities
