what is the difference between jee main and advanced

Greetings!


  • Jee mains is conducted by nta whereas jee advance is conducted by iit


  • Through jee mains you can take admission in nits, state government engineering colleges and private engineering colleges etc whereas jee advance is conducted for providing admission in iits


  • You can appear for jee advance only if you qualify jee mains first.


  • The number of times you can attempt JEE Main is fixed. You can give jee mains exam 3 times in consecutive years whereas you can appear in JEE Advanced Exam for maximum of 2 times and that too in the consecutive years.
