BTech is  a full time under graduate course of duration of 4 years . BTech full form is Bachelor of Technology. Basically you are a engineer after this degree.

MTech is a 2 year postgraduate course which is usually done after BTech degree or BE degree.

You should opt for B.Tech /BE after your 12th std . There are various entrance exams like JEE ,CET , VITEEE for admissions into engineering institutes. You need to pass those exams to get admitted into college of your choice.

The difference between B.TECH and M.TECH is that B.TECH is known for BACHELOR AND TECHNOLOGY which is an undergraduate course and M.TECH is known for MASTER'S OF TECHNOLOGY which is a post graduation course.

After 12th you'll have to pursue your B.TECH which will be your graduation course and after completing your B.TECH only you can pursue M.TECH.

B.tech (bachelor of technology)  is a graduation course in engineering and technology. Those candidate who have passed 12th with physics, chemistry,math or for some b.tech courses biology can apply for this course.

M.tech (master's in technology) is a two years post graduation course. Those candidate who have passed b.tech /B.E can apply for this course. As you can not do M.tech right after 12th.  So after 12th you should opt for B.tech course.
