What is the difference between polytechnic and diploma ?

Actually,  they are same . Only the difference is time period and courses.     

 Diploma course is a short period course for 1 to 2 years  and it focus on training a person in a particular field.

Polytechnics focus on  higher study programs .They offer technical degree programs .
