The level for joint entrance examination or JEE varies from year to year.

Thats what the tutor teaches in the coaching institute the shortcut way to solve the questions because in exam we have to elaborate the process but in engineering entrance examination we have to find the shortest method to solve the respective question.

Although, in general questions from coordinate geometry and calculus will be on the tougher side if compared to Vector calculus and algebra. So you should prepare likewise.
