A Domicile/ Residence Certificate is issued to prove that the citizen has been continuously staying in the State for a period of 15 years. A Domicile Certificate can be obtained only in one state and obtaining this certificate for more than one state is an offence.

To get domicile certificate every state has its own rule. You will get more information from "ward parsad" or "mukhiya " if you are from a rural area. Or consult at the block, you belong to.

Domicile certificate is the certificate which is issued by the local authority, tehsil dar office giving you a document which says you are resident of so and so place or village which comes under his tehsil, territory. It is a certificate that shows you are belonging to that particular place and your family is also resident of that place.

greetings! hope you are doing well.In general, a domicile Certificate or a residence certificate is issued by a state government to prove that the person having the domicile certificate is a resident of that particular State or Union Territory as stated in the domicile certificate. for obtaining Domicile Certificate  an applicant is required to provide various documents depending upon the rules and regulation of a particular State/Union Territory.
