Double Periodicity of Wave

A wave particle repeats its motion after fixed interval at every location, and becomes periodic in time.
The form of wave also repeats itself after equal distances, and becomes periodic in space.
Thus, wave motion is doubly periodic. i.e. periodic in space and time.
