In order to appear for UPSC, candidates need to attain 21 years and  pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized University, one can apply even in the final year, there is no specific  aggregate required in this case. The maximum age limit for General Category/EWS is 32 years, OBC is 35 years, SC/ST is 37 years and in case of physically disabled candidates, 10 year relaxation is provided till 42 years.

UPSC Civil Service Exam consists of three stages-

To give you a brief about the exam;

First one is GS Paper-I with topics such as History of India and Indian national movement, Indian and World geography, Economic and social development- sustainable development, poverty,inclusion demographics, social sector initiatives etc,Indian polity and governance-constitution,political system,Current Events nationally and Internationally, General Science,General Issues on environmental ecology,biodiversity and climate change. you just need to score the required cut offs against your category.

Second paper is CSAT (qualifying by nature) where you need to score 33% only that is 66 Marks out of 200, it includes topics such as basic numeracy, comprehension, logical reasoning and analytical ability, general mental ability, decision making and problem solving, interpersonal skills including communication skills.

Next stage is Mains which is more of a subjective type, one needs to write answer for Four General Studies Paper such as
