Cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Though the cut offs change every year, the formula by which the cut offs are decided remain the same. It is 50 percentile of the top NEET score for General Category and it is 40 percentile for OBC,SC,ST. Now in 2019, the general cut offs increased by 15 marks. But the cut offs decrease if the availability of seats are increased and the Ministry of Health is planning on giving permission to 75 Medical Colleges in 2020 which means the cut offs might more or less remain the same.
