It depends on the institute. For top most institutes (top 15) it ranges from 20-25%. For around top 50 institutes it is generally between 30-50%. For other institutes it can be higher upto around 90-100%.

Institutes are open to accept freshers as they want a good mix of students in their batches to promote diverse thinking. It all depends on your profile and the value you can add to the Institute.
