Being a KVPY fellow is such a prestigious btag that anybody who has a look on your resume would know about your abilities and passion in the science field. Apart from that, you get eligible for direct admission in top institutions of the country like IISC or IISERs. Some engineering colleges like IIIT Hyderabad also give priority to KVPY qualified candidates. 

You also get monthly and annual scholarships if you choose to go for courses like B.Sc or for research oriented courses. You also get access to all National Libraries.
