JIPMER is an online based entrance examination for admission into JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Karaikal.

The paper consists of 200 MCQ type questions to be answered in 2.5 hours.

The paper has total 5 sections:

Physics – 60 Questions

Chemistry – 60 Questions

Biology – 60 Questions

English language and Comprehension – 10

Logical and Quantitative Reasoning - 10

The marking scheme is +4 for correct answer -1 for wrong answer and 0 for unattempted question.

Maximum marks are 800.
