Silver is the best conductor of electricity. Because it's electrons are free to move when compared to other elements.

But many of the factories/industries don't use silver Because of its high price.
Even copper, aluminium, magnesium are good conductor of electricity which comes after silver. So many of the large/small scare industries use them, as they are cheaper then silver.

The substance which allow electricity to pass to pass through it known as good conductor of electricity. Actually conductors have free electrons which allow electricity to pass.

For eg metals are good conductor of electricity.
