This program was launched in the year 2019 which is made for those students who are meritorious and passionate about studies. These students are the representatives of India and further it will set a benchmark at University of Massachusetts Amherst. This scholarship is available for some selected students to help them in pursuing post- graduate degree i.e, in 3 year master's degree programs like- MS in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science, MS in Applied Economics and Master's in Public Policy from University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The selected students will do 2 years study under this program within which the first year will be at JK Laxmipant University and second year will be at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Scholarship amount is of 50% of total fees of 2 years masters degree i.e., 20 lakhs each year. It is disbursed among students as per semester wise subject to satisfactory performance.
