The XAT exam has a unique marking scheme. Like most competitive exams, it also awards one mark for every correct answer and deducts 0.25 for every incorrect one. However, it also removes 0.10 marks for more than 8 un-answered questions. The only section where there is no negative marking is the General Knowledge (GK) section.
