JEE Main exam pattern,
The exam is of 3 hours including a total of 75 questions with 25 each from physics chemistry and Mathematics. The total marks of exam is 300 i.e. 4 marks for each question.60 question will be MCQ while 15 question will be integer type. For MCQ questions -1 for incorrect option.while no negative marking for integer type questions.

Maximum 3 consecutive attempts.

You can appear for JEE Main examination six times in three consecutive years.JEE mains exam is conducted twice a year and a candidate can choose appear in either one or both depending on their choice.So, with being said now you will have two chances to appear in jee in 3 consecutive years that makes total of 6 attempt.

• Duration of JEE mains examination : 3 hours of 300 marks
• Number of questions : Total of 75 in which 25 questions each from Physics ,Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Question pattern : 60 (MCQs having 4 options each with 1 correct option) + 15 (Questions for which answer is a Numerical Value)
• Marking Scheme: For MCQs +4 for each correct response and -1 for each incorrect response. Unattempted questions will not be marked.
• For Non- MCQs: +4 for each correct response, no negative marking for incorrect answers or questions attempted.
