Hello Aspirant, It totally depends upon your college that the package you will get, if you do B.tech from IIT like IIT Roorkee then here maximum package goes around 20 Lakhs per Annum, and minimum goes around 5 to 6 Lakhs per Annum like 2014 Maximum package of Biotechnology IIT Roorkee was 18 Lakhs Per Annum and Average package was 7.6 Lakhs per Annum and taking about NIT for Example NIT Warrangal Biotechnology then, Of year 2019, Maximum Package of NIT Warrangal Biotechnology was 11 Lakhs per Annum and Average was 6.81 Lakhs per Annum, of 2018 Maximum package of Biotechnology NIT Warrangal was 12 Lakhs per Annum and Average was 6 Lakhs Per Annum.So,College matters alot if you do Biotechnology from a private college then hardly you can get College placement and if got then also it will be around 2 to 3 Lakhs per Annum .Over All we can say that in Biotechnology maximum package that you can get is 20 to 25 LPA and lowest 2 to 3 LPA.
