What is the meaning of II shift in engineering colleges?

Some of the colleges due to greater strength take classes in two schedule mainly morning and evening.

The morning one is named as shift 1 and evening batch is named as shift 2.

Generally, II shift means evening for almost all colleges. If any college is having III shifts, the II shift may be starts from mid afternoon, actually it depends. And totally it's decided my the College management and you can check those in your respective College website.

II shift means evening time classes in engineering.....classes are taken in evening for II shift students....
