Hello karan, the word you have written lent, I think you meant lend beacause lent is fasting tradition in preparation of easter done by christians. Lend in terms of accounting means that to provide money to someone for a particular time period and the lender will expect some returns as interest. Eg- xyz Ltd takes a loan of 10 lakh from a bank for 5 years. so, the xyz Ltd have to pay some interest also on the money to the bank.
