The plateauswhich are at different elevation or with varying heights are called rolling plateaus. Velds in Africa calledrolling plateaus because theseare at different elevations. Their height varies at different velds like the flat area at 1500 m and the middle veld is at 2000 m and lower veld is 500 m.
