Seat capacity means the seats available in the colleges through Jee mains.

Dear Aspirant,

Currently, there are 31 NITs, 20 GFTIs & 24 IIITs functioning in India. These Institutes offer a limited number of seats through JEE Main Exam.

There are the following seat matrix in JoSAA 2019:-

· IITs         -          11279

· NITs        -          17967

· GFTIs      -          4683

· IIITs        -          4023

· TOTAL    -          37952

And hence these many students, at max, are selected through josaa counseling.
