CAT exam is considered to be more tough than SSC CGL. Because the difficulty level of VARC and DILR question is very much. There are lesser number of candidates preparing for CAT than SSC CGL. CAT exam is a gateway to admission in MBA in IIMs and other institutions while SSC CGL exam provides you different type of government jobs like Income tax officer, Audit Officer, etc.

There is no comparison between the two exams. Both have different SSC CGL eligibility criteria and objectives. However, for a student who has prepared a lot and is determined to qualify the exam, both will be easy.
