The total MBBS UG seats are divided into two categories:

Category1: Government seats/Sponsored Self financing seats i.e., the Government share of seats in JMMCRI. These are government aided and hence the tuition fee is comparatively lesser than the Category 2 seats.
Category 2 : Private self financing seats, these have comparatively greater tuition fee. Further, there is Category based reservation in both types of seats.

Management Qouta seats cutoff varies and there are several other factors that may influence admission through MQ.To be eligible for admission through management and NRI quota, a candidate has to obtain a minimum of 50th percentile (40th percentile in the case of SC/ST/OBC) in National Eligibility Entrance Test UG (NEET UG). Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur is a MCI approved Private Medical College established in 2003. The admission for private UG seats of JMMCRI is conducted by KEAM.
