What is the minimum mark to get seat in amrita ?

It depends. Are you from Tamilnadu?
If yes, then it's enough to have a rank below 6k or 7k for a department of your choice.
If not, you may get in if you have a rank well below 5k.
If you're from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, where most students come from, any rank greater than 2k won't win you a seat. But if you want a dept of your choice (the popular ones i.e., ece cse mech), around 1000 will be your last resort.
But there's also an option to change your department after 1st year, basic requirement being not having any backlogs. Also, there'll be competition. So gpa above 8 in 1st year helps.
