If your question is regarding JEE Main then the cut off depends on the college and your category.Your rank must be in top 500 for admission in CSE in NITs if you belong to general category.If you belong to any other category then your score must rank be within 1500 to have decent chances of getting seat.To  get such rank your score must be 250 or above.
