If there is a tie in AIIMS, i.e., two people score same aggregate score, then the tie is broken according to the following preferences -

The candidate with higher aggregate marks in MBBS/BDS Professional examinations is given a higher rank.

If the above method fails due to similar results, then the tie is broken according to the age (date of birth). The elder candidate is given preference over the younger one.

Hello Arthi,

Since you are applying for AIIMS PG, there are certain age eligibility criteria, that is maximum 25 years.

Also, You must have MBBS degree in MD/MS, with a minimum of 55 percentile.

Anyone either  Young or elder,  if they study hard, can easily get good grades.
